April 2023 brings two major milestones for Jonathan Keith. First, it marks the Fort Lauderdale broker associate/team leader’s 20th year in real estate. And, as icing on the celebratory cake, it also marks the one-year anniversary of Team JK’s office located at 2780 E. Oakland Park Blvd.

To celebrate, Keith and Team JK at COMPASS will host a gathering with clients, friends and community members from around the world at the Team JK office on Thursday, April 6 from 5 to 8 p.m.

And, indeed, there is oh-so-much to celebrate. JK’s journey in the real estate biz spans collecting rent for family-owned properties in Texas, to investing and land-lording in Tampa and evolving into big box store retail management and appraising and investing in our very own South Florida. Through tenacity, keeping it real and cutting through the clutter, he evolved into a powerhouse in the appraisal space.

In turn, he segued into his real estate journey in 2003 and hasn’t looked back. Since the beginning, he has been a consistent top producer, successfully helping clients across the industry spectrum navigate the peaks, valleys, shifts and multiple downturns of our modern real estate market. To-date, Team JK has collectively closed more than 2,500 transactions valued, cumulatively, at more than $1 billion.

Among his proudest accomplishments is building a 30-plus member team, comprised of some of the most dedicated professionals around. Looking ahead, he hopes to further grow this team, with his trademarked flair of incredible service and dedication as the staples.

Equally as ever-present as JK’s business drive since day one has been his passion for the community. His accolades, leadership positions and endeavors to make Fort Lauderdale an even better place to call home could fill pages. Among his proudest accomplishments, he was named “Humanitarian of the Year” and “Broward Champion” by the Miami Association of Realtors for the scope and impact of his efforts.

Through the years, JK has served as president of the Miami Board of Realtors, sat on the board of both the National Association of Realtors and Florida Association Realtors, was president of Fort Lauderdale Rotary and chairman of Christmas on Las Olas and has sat on boards for Henderson Behavioral Health, Winterfest and Children’s Home Society. In 2009, he was honored as the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society’s “Man of the Year” and, currently, he is the Bayview Elementary School PTA president.

Two decades in, JK is as dynamic, selfless and passionate as they come within the residential and commercial spaces. And, with such proven expertise, dedication and a team like no other in place, count on that much more magic in the next 20 years.
